Phytosanitary Certificate

A Phytosanitary Certificate is an official document used by countries importing and exporting plant products. In the UK, the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) issues these Phytosanitary Certificates.

Phytosanitary certificate includes specific information about the products due for import, such as the botanical name of the plant, the quantity, and details of any treatment the goods have undergone to eliminate pests. It verifies that the shipment has been inspected and found to be in compliance with the importing country's phytosanitary regulations.
