At Releaf, you are treated as a patient first. Our role is to support your access to medical cannabis treatment in the UK with care that is clinically led, transparent, and built around your individual needs. As the most trusted medical cannabis clinic in the UK, we believe patients should always know what standard of care they can expect from us.

This charter sets out what you can expect from us at every stage of your journey.

Your care is led by experienced clinical specialists

Your treatment is overseen by our world-class clinical team, made up of more than 50 specialist doctors, GPs, and nursing staff, all supported by a UK-based Patient Support Team.

Your care follows a structured clinical model, including initial consultation, prescribing decisions, MDT review, and ongoing follow-ups to support continuity and appropriate adjustments to your treatment plan as your health need evolve.

Before you attend your initial consultation, we review your medical records in great detail, and work in coordination with your existing healthcare providers. This includes liaising with your GP and any other relevant healthcare professionals involved in your care, supporting continuity of care and ensuring your treatment is informed by your full clinical history.

By working alongside the wider healthcare system, we support safe, consistent, and well-coordinated care across all aspects of your treatment. All prescribing decisions follow strict clinical guidelines and best practice frameworks, supported by ongoing training and quality assurance.

Your treatment is supported by a reliable and consistent supply chain

All medical cannabis treatment options that are prescribed Releaf patients meet strict regulatory and quality standards, including compliance with EU-GMP manufacturing requirements, pharmaceutical-grade production controls, and rigorous batch testing for consistency, purity, and cannabinoid content.

Releaf patients were the first in the UK to receive UK-grown medical cannabis flower through our partnership with Glass Pharms®. We only work with the most trusted and reliable UK and international partners to maintain a consistent and evolving supply chain, helping support sustainable ongoing access to treatment options.

Your prescriptions and delivery are managed efficiently

We understand how important continuity is to your quality of life.

Your treatment journey, from consultation through to prescription fulfilment and delivery, is designed to keep your care moving without unnecessary delays.

Because your medication is a Schedule 2 prescribed controlled medication, deliveries do not work in the same way as standard online orders. Your medication will never be left unattended and requires secure patient verification before it can be handed over to you.

Your care is supported through a connected patient experience

Your treatment is managed through our one of a kind, built-from-the-ground-up Patient Dashboard, allowing you to manage prescriptions, order medication, monitor your own healthcare through patient reported outcome measures, and track deliveries in one place.

The dashboard also provides you with access to practical tools and resources designed to support your treatment journey, including travel certificate requests, patient guidance, and other information that helps you manage your care with greater confidence and clarity.

As part of your care, you will also receive a free medical cannabis card, which can be used to support identification of your patient status if needed. Eligible Releaf+ patients also have access to Releaf Protect, which provides direct access to independent 24/7 legal guidance in situations related to your prescribed treatment.

We are committed to inclusive care and wil always work with you to provide any type of accessible format that may help you, including translated materials where needed.

Your privacy and dignity are protected at every step

Your personal and medical information is handled in line with UK GDPR standards.

The overwhelming majority of private healthcare providers in the UK do not have direct integration with NHS medical records.

This helps us instantly access up-to-date medical information and support safer, more informed clinical decisions. We use secure identity verification processes to protect your data and support the secure handling of your care. Your confidentiality is respected throughout your treatment.

Your voice and experience matter.

We work with you to understand your needs, preferences, and feedback, and take them into account when shaping your treatment plan. Your care is collaborative, and where changes are needed, we work with you to find the right way forward.

Your appointments and support are built around your needs

We offer flexible appointment times seven days a week.

If you require urgent support, including during palliative care, we prioritise access and provide additional support through our Patient Support Team.

Our team is available during working hours to respond to your calls, emails, and messages, and to support you throughout your treatment journey.
