SCR: Summary of Care Records

Your Summary of Care Record, or an SCR, is your electronic health record that contains essential personal and health information such as your allergies, current medications, and adverse reactions. It can be accessed by healthcare professionals, ensuring they have all the most important information when treating you, especially in emergencies or when you're away from your regular doctor.

Who can access my SCR?

In the UK, your Summary of Care Record can be accessed by a range of NHS healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other authorised staff members.

Why does Releaf need to access my SCR before providing care?

Releaf needs to access your Summary of Care Record to provide you with the best possible care. This is a legal requirement and is also in your best interest as a patient. By having access to your medical history and current medications, Releaf doctors can make more informed decisions about your treatment plan.

If you would like to learn more about medical cannabis in the UK, Releaf is here to help.
