What is Happiness Happens Month?
Happiness Happens Month takes place throughout the month of August. It offers a time to reflect and celebrate the things that bring us joy and make our lives better. The month-long event was started by the Secret Society of Happy People (now simply the Society of Happy People) in 2025 with the aim of spreading positivity and encouraging people all over the world to recognise the happy moments.
Twenty-five years on, Happiness Happens Month is celebrated in workplaces, by organisations, charities, and individuals all over the globe.
